Finding a pilot car and verifying that it meets the conditions of your move are two separate tasks. Start with the permit, then use the required count, placement, equipment and travel windows to make the booking.

Ask the operator to confirm the actual arrangement, not merely “available.” Keep unanswered questions open until the responsible person resolves them.
