JaloPermit reads your PDF with AI and can be wrong. Your issued permit is the only legal authority — verify routes, escorts, and limits before you drive.
By tapping “I Agree & Continue,” or by using JaloPermit, you agree to these Terms & Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
JaloPermit is an AI-assisted reading aid that extracts a summary, route, escorts, and limits from an oversize/overweight permit PDF and can show the route in a third-party map. It is an informational convenience only. It is NOT legal advice, NOT issued or endorsed by any state, DOT, or permitting authority, and NOT a substitute for your official permit or applicable laws and regulations.
JaloPermit is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. AI extraction can misread, omit, or misinterpret a permit, and route data can be incomplete or out of date. We do not warrant that results are accurate, current, or error-free.
You are solely responsible for operating legally and safely. Before driving, independently verify the route, escorts/pilot cars, travel windows, dimensions, weight, and all restrictions against your issued permit and the requirements of every jurisdiction on your trip, and obey all road signs, posted limits, and laws. You assume all risk arising from use of the app.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JaloPermit and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from fines, citations, delays, property damage, bridge or structure strikes, injury, or any reliance on the app’s output. Total aggregate liability, if any, will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use the app or $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JaloPermit and its creators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the app or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Routing and mapping rely on third-party services (e.g., Google Maps and OpenStreetMap data). JaloPermit does not control and is not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
Some features send permit text to third-party services (e.g., AI extraction and mapping/routing) to produce your result; their use is subject to their own terms.
We may update these Terms. When they change materially you will be asked to accept the updated version before continuing to use the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
